Important Updates to Hebron Food Pantry Shopping Policy

Like most everyone Hebron is struggling with supply chain issues. We are consistently thoughtful when ordering from The Greater Boston Food Bank. We strive to order enough food for our distribution times as well as our senior boxes. We evaluate and assess every day. On occasion we may need to limit the number of certain foods that you can take. When necessary, the limit amounts will be labeled for each product.

Shopping at the Pantry

Shopping the pantry is similar to visiting a grocery store, you can pick the items you like best! Upon arrival at the pantry please check in with a volunteer and be issued a buzzer with your number in line. When it is your turn to shop the buzzer will go off. A volunteer will give you a rolling cart with a box to fill with your selections (one box max). We provide canned goods, produce, meat, bread, pastries, some personal care items and occasionally other goods. We recommend that you to bring reusable shopping bags to transfer your selections and make it easier to bring your selections home.
*If you have special dietary needs, please let us know.

If you are unable to make it to one of our listed pantry times listed above request an appointment on Friday of each week.

We understand that life has some unexpected circumstances that get in the way of coming to one of our open pantries. If you are disabled and not able to stand in line for long periods of time, have child care barriers, work disruptions, taking care of a loved one, social anxiety, or something else please request a shopping appointment for Friday using the link below.
